The Best Lunch I Ever Had

Well today’s meals looked like this:

Taste-tea!

I absolutely LOVE Chai tea!! The first time I had it, about a year ago, I kept raving to my roommate that it was like a treat! And I still feel that way – Chai tea with some milk in it is my usual morning drink.

I also had plain greek yogurt mixed with chocolate protein powder with some almonds on top for a little extra crunch!

But lunch definitely stole the show today…

I used a Thomas Light Multi-Grain english muffin, which has pretty impressive nutritional stats! (100 calories, 5g protein, and a whopping 8g of fiber!) I spread a Laughing Cow French Onion cheese wedge on the muffin, then added my new MorningStar Farms Tomato Basil Pizza Burger, which is vegetarian of course! I topped it off with spinach, onion, and scallions. This meal was SO GOOD! I told everyone I saw for the rest of the day about my deeeelish lunch! I would highly recommend the Tomato Basil Burger, whether you’re vegetarian or not – it was insanely good! I also had an apple to round out my lunch.

Believe it or not I was not too hungry come dinner time, so I kept it simple with some roasted sweet potatos and broccoli

Monster coooookiesss!

I had a few of the cookies that my roommate Meghan’s mom made for dessert. She calls them monster cookies, and they’re monster-ishly good! I believe they have oatmeal, peanut butter, chocolate chips, and mini M&Ms in them! yummm!
